OPEN SEMINAR
"Modernization of Public Services"
About the topic
Our daily life is much influenced by public
services. No matter the health care, education, transportation, social
security, housing and planning, we need them across the day. Hong Kong is one
of the modernized cities in Asia and no wonder you would expect modernized
public services within the territories.
Service quality, efficiency, transparency and service delivery by IT are
hot issues regarding public services. How far you know and how much you understand about these issues? You may be the direct users, indirect
users or managers of public services.
Do you care about them?
Hong Kong government has faced lots of problems upon the change of
sovereignty in 1997: economic turmoil in 1998 and hence the pressure derived from
environmental changes as time evolved.
What do you think the government should do in keeping the society in
pace with the modern world?
Come and join our seminar!
This is a good chance for you to have an update in the realm of public management.
